Parma's young Paraguayan midfielder Walter Rodriguez spoke today of his delight at being handed a place in the starting 11 on Sunday, while expressing his desire to remain at the Tardini next season.
"To play from the start on Sunday? It was nice but I was also a bit nervous because it was only the second time I had played from the start, I thank my teammates though as they have helped me to gain confidence on the field to enable me to play better." The 20 year old also went on to discuss Parma's preparations for the Poule Scudetto... "The Poule Scudetto? We are really happy to have finished the championship unbeaten but now starts a new page. Yes it was nice to receive the nice words from Mister Apolloni on Sunday but now I have to start from scratch and work hard to make sure I play from now till the end of the season, I have a good feeling I will be able to. Here in Parma I am learning so much, I am very happy and I would love to stay." Follow me...... @giovannid86 @Solo_Parma Facebook - Solo Parma
