Parma - Frosinone
14:00 (UK) Stadio Ennio Tardini Parma returns to action this weekend back within the comfort of their own home. Last time out The Ducali were comfortably beaten by Atalanta 3-0, this means since the international break, Parma have now lost two, conceded five and scored zero, albeit against Lazio and Atalanta. Frosinone come to town on Sunday afternoon as Roberto D’Aversa looks to stop the rot and get Parma back to winning ways. Despite his disappointing display last weekend, Gervinho completed his first full 90 minutes in a Parma jersey and will be expected to start on Sunday. Parma’s main strike threat, Roberto Inglese is yet again a doubt, with the forward training on his own during the week. While Jacopo Dezi, Massimo Gobbi, Alberto Grassi and Gianni Munari all trained with the first team. Parma will have to do without the suspended Antonio Barilla. Frosinone travel north to Parma having picked up their first win of the season last time out, a surprise 3-0 victory over SPAL kept the Canarini in 19th place but took them to within 4 points of safety and 17th place Bologna. Vice Captain Cristian Molinaro was back training with the first team on Wednesday, Mirko Gori is a doubt for the visitors though having picked up a light ankle injury however, Moreno Longo is expected to go relatively unchanged for Sunday’s clash. The last time Frosinone visited the Tardini was only seven months ago in Serie B, Parma would win 2-0 thanks to two goals from Antonio Di Gaudio as D’Aversa’s side recorded their sixth win in seven as they pushed for promotion to Serie A. Expect Sunday to be an open game with chances at both ends, Parma will be looking to Gervinho to find his best form again and inspire Parma as they look to pull clear from the bottom end of the table. @Solo_Parma @giovannid86
