Date Joined Parma; August 2015 Parma's new pint sized forward Fabio Lauria, began his footballing career in Umbria, as part of the Ternana youth set up, this followed a deal in 2004 which would see the 20 year old Lauria join Reggiana in part of a co-ownership deal. Lauria would only spend a year in Emilia Romagna as in 2005 he was sold to then Serie B side Arezzo however he would spend his first two seasons out on loan at Martina and Lanciano respectively in Serie C1. Despite finally getting some game time at Arezzo in season 2008/09, Lauria found himself on the move again this time at Lumezzane where Lauria racked up over 50 appearances, come 2011 the little Neapolitan found himself at Venezia where he hit 17 goals in close to 60 appearances for the club, Lauria was one of the clubs most influential players in the two years he spend at the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo. After brief spells with Matera and Cuneo, it was his form last season at Parma's Serie D rivals Delta Rovigo that caught the attention of Luigi Apolloni with Lauria finding the net 17 times last campaign. Fabio Lauria started his Parma career with a dream debut as he helped his new side to a 2-1 win in week one over Villafranca at the Tardini. Since that day in September, Lauria has been inspirational playing his part in Parma becoming winter champions as The Ducali sit seven points clear at the top with two rounds to go before the winter break, Luigi Apolloni and the Parma faithful will be hoping the little entertainer can add to his goal tally going into 2016 to ensure Parma remain top of the tree come May.
