Parma board member, Giacomo Malmesi spoke to the official club media yesterday as he attempted to reassure fans the club have done no wrong.
"At the moment we are experiencing a difficult time because we are forced to play a game we don't want to, but we will play with all the power and commitment. Parma were promoted on the pitch, fully deserved and fair and what we are accused of is so petty and absurd that to be honest I do not believe that this case has ended up in a sports court. Since the reactivation of the team we have always tried to act in accordance with the rules and spirit of the game. We did not argue with the media, we did not argue with about the injustices that affected us, now we can not run away from the discussion. I think that Parma can do something good for all Italian football. We are a model of society without flaws, no debts, a society that has always been exemplary. We are convinced that the process of 'Cazzein' will not cause any sports damage. Any other result of this situation would be illogical and simply absurd. At this time, in the face of the storm we are still trying to look ahead and build a team for the upcoming games. It can not be concealed however that all this matter also in the media causes huge damage both image and economic, therefore when it is over we will assert our rights and demand compensation. As for the fans, I will confirm what we said a few days ago, keep calm, I understand that the whole situation is very difficult and abnormal for you but trust us, nothing threatens our participation in Serie A, at this point we must remain united, show our pride and character together." @giovannid86 @Solo_Parma
