Former Parma forward and Serie A veteran Amauri has finally commented on the rumours linking him with a possible return to Parma.
Speaking to ParmaLive.com the 35 year old said; "I saw something in the papers and heard some voices, I have also received some messages from my friends in Parma. I do not know what will happen, we will see, at the moment I am at home resting, but you can talk, why not? In Parma I hold some wonderful memories, we will see what's in store during the summer." Amauri became a fans favourite at Parma during his third spell at the club between 2012 and 2014 under the guidance of Roberto Donadoni, playing a key role in the clubs record breaking unbeaten streak of the 2013/14 season helping the Ducali 'qualify' for Europe.......... we all know what happened next there. With the uncertainty surrounding Parma at the start of the 2014/15 season, Amauri joined Torino, however making just twenty appearances and scoring just a single goal, the powerhouse striker now finds himself a free agent, if he does choose to return for a fourth spell at The Tardini, I'm sure it will be a welcome one by all involved at the club as Parma aim for back to back promotions.
